You can file with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission or with HUD, and free legal help is available from Disability Rights Pennsylvania. A complaint with the state commission generally must be filed within 180 days of the denial, and a federal HUD complaint within one year. The shorter state deadline is the one to watch, so act fast and keep every email and letter in writing.
